Detailed introduction of screen mesh and material of standard test sieve

Standard test sieve, also called standard sieve, experimental sieve, inspection sieve, etc., is a common tool for particle size analysis of granular powder materials in the laboratory. There are usually two specifications of Ф200 and Ф75, of which the Ф200 series is the most widely used.

Standard test sieves usually have wire braided mesh, punched plate mesh, electroformed mesh and nylon mesh.

Wire Braided Mesh:

The mesh aperture is 0.02-2.36mm, and the mesh is square. It is produced in accordance with the national standard GB5330-85 and equivalently adopts the international standard IS09044-90. The weaving structure has two types of plain weave and twill weave.

Performance: acid resistance, alkali resistance, high temperature resistance, strong tensile force, good flexibility; wide range of uses

Punching plate screen:

The perforated screen mesh has a large aperture, with round holes and square holes or customized hole types, and the aperture can range from 0.2 to several hundred millimeters.

Performance: not easy to deform, strong impact resistance, firm; mostly used for screening soil, asphalt, coal samples, etc.

Electroforming screen:

Manufactured using electrochemical methods, the precision is extremely high, and the theoretical precision can reach 1 micron.

Performance: The screen is fragile and easy to crack, the production process is complicated and the price is high; it is suitable for inspection and inspection of fine powder.

Nylon screen:

Made of PVC nylon, used in plastic standard test sieves, the sieve aperture is between 10-500 mesh.

Performance: non-magnetic and non-static, avoid chemical reaction with special materials, suitable for screening zirconia, phosphors and some special chemical additives.

The test sieve is mainly divided into metal material and plastic material

The metal material test sieve is mostly made of food and pharmaceutical grade 304 stainless steel, which has strong corrosion resistance and toughness;

When the chemical properties of the materials to be inspected and screened are special, or there are other special requirements, the copper mesh test sieve can also be selected;

All nylon plastic test sieves are made of PVC material, and the screen is a national standard anti-corrosion nylon mesh, which has strong corrosion resistance, no metal, no magnetism, and no static electricity.

A set of 37 standard test sieves, including 12 wire mesh sieves, can be used with optional sieve covers or with a timed vibrating screen machine to save the trouble of hand sieving.
