Types of Hopper Screw Conveyors

1. According to the material:

Stainless steel hopper screw conveyor: It is mostly used in food, medicine and other industries that have high requirements for hygienic environment. It is acid-resistant, corrosion-resistant, wear-resistant, not easy to rust, and it is more convenient to clean after use. Compared with carbon steel materials, the service life will be longer long.

Carbon steel hopper screw conveyor: It is used in industries that do not have very strict hygiene requirements, with low cost, large conveying capacity, good heat insulation effect, no cooling device, and low power consumption.

2. According to the conveying angle:

Horizontal Hopper Screw Conveyor: It is used for continuous and uniform conveying of loose materials horizontally or slightly inclined (below 20º), and the conveying distance is generally not more than 70 meters.

Inclined Hopper Screw Conveyor: It is used to convey materials within 60°, and the conveying length can reach 60 meters.

Vertical hopper screw conveyor: convey materials vertically upward at 90°, the speed is higher than that of ordinary screw conveyor, and the lifting height is generally not more than 8 meters.
