The principle of screw feeder

The screw feeder moves the product upward through a completely closed helical rotating shaft. The speed of the screw body is higher than that of the ordinary screw conveyor. Under the action of centrifugal force, the conveyed material and the casing produce friction, which prevents the material from rotating with the screw blade and overcomes the problem of the material. Falling gravity, thus realizing the inclined or vertical conveying of materials.

Reminder: For materials with poor fluidity, the inclination angle can reach 50°, but when using an inclined screw feeder to convey materials, it is necessary to apply a certain pressure to the feeding port. However, when conveying materials vertically, the lifting height can reach 8 meters. When the lifting height needs to be increased, the vertical screw conveyor often needs intermediate hangers or stabilizer bearings to eliminate excessive screw deflection.
