Structural analysis of belt conveyor

The conveyor belt

There are two kinds of rubber belts and plastic belts commonly used on belt conveyors. The rubber band is suitable for working environment temperatures between -15 and 40 °C. The material temperature is below 50 °C, and the requirement of 50 °C or above is required to inform the manufacturer when ordering, and the high temperature resistant conveyor belt can be selected. The upward spread of the bulk material is 12° to 24°. Skirt belts are available for large dip feeds. The plastic belt of the belt conveyor has the characteristics of oil resistance, acid and alkali, but it is not very adaptable to climate change, and it is easy to slip and age. In general, bandwidth is the main technical parameter of the belt conveyor.

The roller device

On the belt conveyor, there are grooved idlers, flat idlers, self-aligning idlers, and cushioning idlers. The trough roller (consisting of 3 rollers) supports the bearing branch for conveying the loose material; the lateral position is determined by adjusting the heart roller to avoid the deviation; the buffer roller is placed at the receiving position to reduce The impact of small materials on the belt.

The drum device

Generally, the drive roller and the reverse roller are divided. The drive roller is the main component that transmits power. The single drum (the angle of the tape to the drum is 210° to 230°), the double drum (wrapping angle of 350°) and the multi-roller (for high power).

The elastic device

On the belt conveyor, the elastic device generally functions to achieve the necessary tension of the conveyor belt, which can effectively reduce the possibility of slippage on the driving drum and ensure the deflection of the conveyor belt between the rollers within a normal range. It includes spiral elastic device, heavy hammer elastic device and vehicle tensioning device.
